### Things to Remember After an Accident

##### **What to Do**

- **Stay calm.** Accidents happen – don’t panic.
- **Be safe.** Move your vehicle out of the way of traffic and turn on your hazard warning lights.​
- **Don’t admit fault.** Don’t admit fault to anyone – we’ll investigate the accident once we have all the facts​.

##### **Who to Call**

- **Call police.** Call the police even if the accident is minor​.
- **Call us.** Report the accident to Forge immediately – regardless of fault​.

##### **Information to Get**

- **Photos.** Take photos to document the vehicle damage, accident scene, and position of vehicles following the accident​.
- **Other Drivers.** Get information (name, address, phone number, and insurance card) for all other parties involved in the accident.
- **Passengers.** Get contact information (name, address, and phone number) for any passengers in vehicles involved in the accident​.
- **Witnesses.** Get contact information (name, address, and phone number) for anyone that witnessed the accident​.
